Hello!

While you likely won’t see a Mountie upon arrival at Pearson (sorry! we hear Paul Gross is busy), you will upon arriving in the City of Toronto, see the busiest urban library system in the world.

We've Got Experts!

Here in Toronto, we provide free access to a wealth of information to help you make informed decisions. We have library staff who are experts at helping you find information. Some individuals may have had enough of experts, but our expert staff are also great at providing a wide range of programming for all ages. We offer Ready for Reading which is a complete set of free programs, services, books, spaces and resources for children birth to age five designed to help get your child ready for reading.

Books about Canada and Canadians

For your consideration, we’ve selected some great children’s books about Canada and Canadians. For Americans, we’ve included a book about the metric system. Just a gentle reminder that we use the metric system here, Brits need not worry, drink your tea and carry on.

Please Don't Feed the Moose….

So put down the maple syrup and grab your snowboard. Oh, and when you’re here please don’t feed our moose. If you give a moose a muffin, you’ll discover that our moose are very greedy.
