All the World’s a Stage – Shakespeare for Kids
As the days get shorter, now is the perfect time to sign your children up for a little dramatic action!
Are your kids outgoing? Then the Shakespeare for Kids Library Drama Club is for them! Perhaps they are a bit shy and need drawing out. Then this two-hour program is perfect for them as well.
Once a week for six consecutive weeks, actors and educators from Shakespeare In Action Theatre Company coach kids in playing theatre games centered around plays such as Romeo & Juliet, Twelfth Night, the Tempest and others. They will create and act in scenes from Shakespeare's plays, developing play-reading skills as they do so. The program accepts children who are between 7 – 12.
Shakespeare for Kids Library Drama Club is free thanks to the generous support of TD Bank Financial Group.
The Fall session starts on Nov. 4 and there are still spots available in some of the six branches. Registration in person is required.
