Snuggle-up Picture Books Not to Miss This Winter
It’s time for winter break from school! That means two whole weeks for kids to play outside in the snow, have fun with family and friends, do something cool and different at the library, and kick back with a great read!
This blog post highlights some fun books the whole family can enjoy that celebrate winter and the holiday season. I’ve also included some fabulous winter themed programs that can be found around the library system. We have wonderful children’s programming all throughout the year, of course, but here I highlight some of the most fun programs taking place during the two weeks when your little ones might announce "I'm bored!"
Winter isn’t complete without reading together as a family. With Family Literacy Day arriving in January, these winter reads would work well for over the holidays, as well as during January.
