Artwork from Young Voices Magazine
Every year Toronto Public Library encourages teens aged 12-19 to submit creative writing and/or artwork. The ones that get selected are published into a nice glossy magazine which is then distributed to all branches in Toronto. Here at Lillian Smith for the next couple of weeks, we happen to have the art work featured in the 2010 publication. So if you happen to be in the neighbourhood and want to take a gander, you'll find them on display above the Graphic Novels in the Teen area. We don't have enough space to put them all up, so we'll be rotating the art every week.
The deadline to submit for the 2011 magazine just passed in April, but they have begun accepting submissions for Young Voices 2012. More Information can be found on the Young Voices Website along with online versions of the magazine from the past ten years.

hi, is it possible to subscibe this magazine?
Sorry, at this point it is not possible to subscribe to this magazine. The print copy is made available at all Toronto Public Library branches every year. If your interested in an online version, most of years are available in PDF format on TPL’s website for teens called RAMP. Which can be found here:

Hope this helps.
