Take practice tests and tutorial courses in math, science and reading through Learning Express Library, a database available through Toronto Public Library. There are even standard tests and entrance exams such as TOEFL, SAT, GRE and LSAT that you can'take at your own speed.
All you need is your library card to login.

I was happy that all of these tests are available & I started practicing with the real estate sales agent’s practice tests. However, I was very disappointed to see that they were for the U.S. real estate agents and not for Canadians.I think that TPL libraries in Ontario should have Canadian tests, as a priority.
We are also disappointed that we cannot get all material in Canadian versions at the outset and we do lobby very hard with content providers to make this happen. The new Canadian version of Learning Express Library contains test preparation for the Canadian GED and Canadian Citizenship Test. Coming soon wil be the Canadian Armed Forces test and the RCMP test.
However we do feel that the general content provided is beneficial to many patrons and in many cases we elect to provide this while we continue to work on acquiring Canadian versions of all tests in Learning Express Library and Canadian content in general.
