As a newcomer, you may want to consider volunteering as a way to connect with others and make new friends and contacts. The free workshop on Volunteerism at Parliament St. Branch on April 21, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. will help you find out what is volunteering, who can volunteer in Canada, and what you can learn from volunteering.
