Did you know that there are six library branches that carry Panjabi materials at the Toronto Public Library? You'll find a large collection (1,500 or more items) at Toronto Reference Library; medium collections (750-1,500 items) at AlbionHumberwood, Malvern and York Woods; and a small collection (fewer than 750 items) at Humber Summit

With thousands of books, CDs, DVDs and magazines to choose from, make Toronto Public Library the first place you visit whenever you want to read Panjabi books, watch Panjabi movies, or learn Panjabi.

If you or someone you know wants to learn Panjabi, the library has instructional books, audiobooks, and DVDs that can help. Mango Languages also has a Punjabi (Pakistani) online course which is free to use with a Toronto Public Library card.

  1. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Right now, our system is using the Library of Congress Subject Headings, which uses the transliteration “Panjabi” instead of “Punjabi”. A search for either Panjabi or Punjabi in our catalogue will find the materials we own in this language.
