Have you ever wanted to edit a photo using Adobe Photoshop, or print out a 3D figurine? We can help with that! Toronto Public Library offers free access to a wide array of technology, software, and classes and that can help you complete these tasks! From computers equipped with professional software to 3D printers, we have 8 Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) across the system that are ready for you to visit. Here is information about just some of the different services and resources that are available to you! 

Computers & Equipment

Digital Innovation Hubs provide customers with a wide range of specialized software and equipment! Our DIHs have iMacs and Windows PCs equipped with the Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro X, and more! There is also a wide array of equipment that can help you complete your project, including recording equipment and Arduinos. 3D Printing

Ultimaker - 3-D Printer

Did you know that you can use a 3D printer to print objects such as jewelry, home appliance parts, toys, and phone accessories?

Come learn how to print a 3D design with the help of our staff or by attending a class! You can even learn to create a 3D design by attending a 3D design class. Full information about 3D printing, including the cost of materials, can be found on our website.

Fabrication Studio

Fabrication Studios Fabrication Lab

Have you ever wanted to make a fabric creation, but lacked the necessary equipment? We have you covered! Located inside North York Central Library, our Fabrication Studio has sewing machines (including a serger) and a vinyl printer and cutter, and even a button maker! Join us for a program or class to learn more about what you can do in our Fabrication Lab. Visit our website for more information about what equipment is available, and how much materials cost! 

Pop-Up Learning Labs

Did you know that there are Pop-Up Learning Labs that travel to different branches each month with technology for you to explore? Pop-Up Learning Labs bring Digital Design Technicians to a new branch each month!

They also offer a variety of programs and classes for all age groups! Come explore what you can do with 3D printers, Arduinos, Lego Mindstorms, HTC Vives for virtual reality, Makey Makeys, and more.
