Health and Safety Laws in the Workplace

Join us when a representative from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario (WSIB) will provide an introduction to health and safety laws.  This session will help you become aware of potential risks in the workplace.  Gain an understanding of the legal requirements among business owners and senior managers to ensure the safety of employees.

When: Tuesday, May 17, 2011 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  1. Informative post…. Health insurance is insurance against the risk of incurring medical expenses. The law imposes a responsibility on the employer to ensure safety at work for all their employees. Employers have to take reasonable steps to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees at work. Gain an understanding of the legal requirements among business owners and senior managers to ensure the safety of employees.
