Our Browsery on the main floor has a great selection of paperback romance fiction – and there is something for just about everyone. Finished everything by your favourite author? Ask a librarian for suggestions. Romance readers know what they like. True, the voracious reader might venture outside their comfort zone. But never try to push lusty vikings onto readers who prefer 18th century lace (or 20th century leather ). Some romance readers wouldn't read a paranormal romance if it bit them. Some readers only revel in Regencies while some need a sunburnt cowboy to spur their interest. Some fall for smooth operators, some for hairy werewolves. What's the ideal setting to make your heart a-flutter? The English countryside? glittering skyscrapers? or the gritty streets of an urban underworld?
