Audiobooks in the Business Department? Why not?
Not everyone likes to read. Not everyone CAN read. Some people have visual problems. Some just prefer listening –and remember what they have heard better than what they have read. Some people study while they are sleeping, listening to audiobooks, and some like listening to non-fiction rather than fiction while they are driving or sitting in traffic.
The library has a large collection of non-fiction audiobooks on various subjects. Here are a few located in the Business Department on the 4th floor at the North York Central Library. Learn how to build a great business, how Starbucks survived, how the wealthy got rich and you can, too. Learn about Warren Buffett's management secrets and Donald Trump's ideas on thinking big. Learn about leadership and management, risk-taking and success.
Not all are available in print but for those that are, you don't have to stop "reading" when you get in the car. You can'take out both and continue "listening" while driving.
