Apple-cat-cute-eyes-kitten-130327 So you've recently purchase an eReader and don't know what to do next?  You're not alone.  I've had my eReader for about 18 months and I love it but there were a few frustrating moments in the beginning. The good news is that it gets easier.  As with any new technology, it takes time and patience to learn.

On Thursday September 22, 2-4 pm, North York Central Library is offering a workshop on eBooks and eReaders.  The presentation will consist of an overview of eBooks and eBook readers in general, followed by information and a demonstration of OverDrive, one of the library's eBook providers.   Please stop by the Browsery desk on the main floor, or call 416-395-5672, to register.

If you can't wait for the workshop, check out this Overdrive Tutorial.

  1. Is it really that hard to use an ebook reader? I saw it recently with my friend who likes to read and as I watch him, it looks easy though. Maybe I should try to search moire about it because I’m thinking of having one.

  2. Hi, garage equipment
It’s just like with any other sort of new device, there’s a learning curve. Some people need a little help to get over the initial bumps.
The good news is that there’s a lot of help available either online or through library programs like this one.
