December Reflections
(Tick tock! Click the clock!)
Most people, like myself, officially begin celebrating the festive season today with friends and family. Some people celebrate by reflecting on achievements accomplished in the past year. Others choose to celebrate by comparing accomplishments of this year to previous years.
And some simply enjoy reading about past events. For those people, here are some titles based on historical periods occurring in December:
December 1917
Pearl Harbor Ghosts: (60th anniversary ed., rev. and updated)
Pearl Harbor Christmas
December 1941
And for those who want more in-depth information on recent history:
CBC News in Review is "an audiovisual, educational resource designed to inform and teach
students about the big headlines and feature news stories in Canada and
around the world." (Retrieved from CBC website on October 30, 2012.)

Whichever way you choose to celebrate this time of year, I would like to wish you all a festive and enjoyable holiday and all the best in the coming New Year!
