Free Science Events in Toronto for March 2013
The Science and Technology Department of North York Central Library compiles a monthly calendar of free science and applied science events in Toronto. Applied science includes health, gardening, pets and food; all subjects found in the department's collection. Here is the March calendar.
This month's highlights include:
- March 9: Winter Waterfowl at Tommy Thompson Park, learn about and view some of these spectacular winter snowbirds.
- March 14: Air Pollution Cocktail: Which Pollutants are Responsible for Health Effects? Part of the Environment and Health Seminar Series from the School of the Environment at the University of Toronto.
- March 27: Biomaterials Discovery: Combinatorial Methods, Rapid Collection and Computational Modeling, part of the Lectures at the Leading Edge from the Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry department at the University of Toronto.
- March 29: Elderly Care at Home, a health talk delivered by clinicians from the University Health Network.
