Free Science Events in Toronto for October 2013
The Science and Technology Department of North York Central Library compiles
a monthly calendar of free science and applied science events in Toronto.
Applied science includes health, gardening, pets and food; all subjects found
in the department's collection. Here is the October calendar.
October's highlights include:
- October 5: My Virtual Dream, send your brain signals wirelessly to the The Virtual Brain through the Brain Computer Interface headsets and create a panorama of colours, images, sound and music.
- October 20: Autumn Splendour Photo-Buff Walk, join a walking tour through High Park.
- October 24: Gold Deposits in Metamorphic Rocks: Geology, Genesis and Global Patterns, part of the Earth Sciences Seminar Series at the University of Toronto.
