Free Science Events in Toronto for December 2013
The Science and Technology Department of North York Central Library compiles a monthly calendar of free science and applied science events in Toronto. Applied science includes health, gardening, pets and food; all subjects found in the department's collection. Here is the December calendar.
December's highlights include:
- December 3: Extreme Environments, Extraordinary Feats: How Far Can We Push Ourselves?, speakers will discuss the human body's ability to adapt in extreme conditions.
- December 5: Icy Visitors, a lecture and planetarium show from the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto.
- December 15: Holiday Hike to Colborne Lodge, part of the High Park Sunday Walking Tours.
