3D Printer Classes at North York Central Library

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! North York Central Library is excited to announce that we will be having 3D Printer Certification classes in the month of January 2016 and also Pop-up demonstrations in the main entrance area to the library to showcase what the 3D printer is all about!
The dates for 3D Printer Certification are: January 14, 20th, and 27th (all 2-3 p.m.)
To sign up for the classes, please visit the website and sign up through Eventbrite.
The 3D Printer Certification classes covers the basics of 3D printing at the library and allow you to access to use the 3D printers at any of the Digital Innovation Hubs in the Toronto Public Library system. Currently, they are at: Fort York, the Toronto Reference Library, and Scarborough Civic Centre branches. The North York Central Library will also be getting a Digital Innovation Hub along with their renovations.
And the dates for the Pop-Up 3D Printer Demonstrations are: January 16 (3- 4 p.m), January 22nd (12:30-1:30 p.m.), and January 30th (3-4 p.m.). During these sessions, staff from North York Central Library will be on hand to demonstrate how the 3D printer works and answer any questions.
There will also be a 3D Printer Certification class for children ages 6 to 14, on January 23rd (3-4 p.m.) For children under 10, their paren'ts must stay for the class and get certified as well in order for children to use the 3D printers at the Innovation Hubs.
