Free Science Events in Toronto for February 2019
The Business, Science & Technology Department of North York Central Library compiles a monthly calendar of free science and applied science events in Toronto. Applied science includes health, gardening, pets and food- all subjects found in the department's collection. Here is the February Calendar (PDF).
February's highlights include:
February 9: Web Development Basics: Free Coding Workshop – learn the fundamentals of web development.
February 10: Campfire Cooking. Nature Connection – explore the fantastic combination of melted butter, garlic and bread to create campfire garlic bread.
February 11: Stay Active – Manage your Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis (OA) – learn about osteoarthritis of the hip and knee.
February 23: Know Your Nature – Family Nature Walks – learn about the plants and animals in High Park .
