September 28, 2010 | Laura Arrizza | Comments (0)

Well, there is a city revitalization plan; it's called Toronto's Official Plan, and it's coming up for its five-year review.  Is the plan working?  Can the city effectively plan its own future?  Can Toronto do better?  John Lorinc,  urban affairs journalist for the Globe and Mail and Spacing Magazine, will lead the discussion with Derek Ballantyne, Chief Operating Officer for Build Toronto and former CEO of Toronto Community Housing Corporation,  Beth Milroy, former director of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University, and Marian Mohamud, a proud Lawrence Heights Neptune neighborhood  resident and advocate.    Come out to Toronto Reference Library on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 7 pm, and join the discussion.
