JUST IN: Lena Dunham comes to the Appel Salon
On Thursday, October 23, 7 pm, join Lena Dunham, acclaimed creator, producer and star of HBO’s Girls, as she talks about her hilarious, wise and fiercely candid collection of personal essays in her upcoming release, Not That Kind of Girl.

Ticket holders: As most Appel Salon events are free, it is our policy to overbook. In case of a full program, your ticket reservation may not guarantee admission. Doors open at 6 pm. Please join us for a cash bar reception starting at 6 pm.
RUSH SEATS: A limited number of rush seats will be made available on the day of the event, beginning at 6 pm. Rush seat ticket holders are not guaranteed admittance and will be admitted into the event at 6:50 pm if seats are available.
Unclaimed reservations will be released to standby customers 10 minutes prior to the start of the program.
We recommend that you arrive early.
IF SOLD OUT: This event will be simulcast into the Atrium of the Toronto Reference Library. Library customers who are not successful in getting a seat in the Salon are invited to watch the event on a screen in the Atrium. After the Salon clears, library customers can enter the Salon to have their book signed by the author.
