TCAF Returns to Reference Library on May 14 and 15
After you visit the Toronto Public Library table at Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) – on the main floor in front of the Digital Innovation Hub – and find out about the 5,000+ online comics you can borrow with your library card, there's lots of other great stuff to see around the building! With over 400 cartoonists scheduled to attend from more than a dozen countries, TCAF celebrates the very best in comics, graphic novels, bandes dessinées, and manga!
Every year TCAF showcases Canada’s incredible comics talent on a world stage by promoting some of our best and brightest creators and publishers, and inviting the attention of the global cartooning community, as a week of readings, launches and art events culminates in a massive, FREE two-day exhibition at Toronto Reference Library and surrounding area on May 14 and 15!
Canadian cartooning superstar Michel Rabagliati will be helping Conundrum Books celebrate their 20th anniversary. Faith Erin Hicks helps celebrate the 10th anniversary of First Second Books with the release of the first volume of her new fantasy/adventure series, The Nameless City. Other comic superstars at TCAF will include Brian K. Vaughan, Lisa Hanawalt, Rokudenashiko, Shintaro Kago, Teva Harrison, Jennifer Hayden, and TCAF poster artist Kate Beaton, to name just a few!
