United Way

Co-Chairperson Debby Ng issued the following report on the United Way Barbeque Lunch at Toronto Reference Library:

"On Thursday October 13th, TRL hosted their first United Way Barbeque Lunch! The success of this event was possible only through the generous donations of Rabba Fine Foods, the big-hearted and burger-hungry staff at TRL, and the excellent work of the dedicated canvassers and volunteers who worked hard to make this such a fantastic event!

Feedback from staff was overwhelmingly positive, in no small part thanks to the delicious burgers cooked by dedicated chef, Stephen Young, and a festive environment.

Over $550 was raised for United Way. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the event!"
