Welcome to the Nine-Nine, a fictional police precinct set in Brooklyn, New York, where the talented Detective Jake Peralta holds the highest arrest records. Having never followed the rules too closely, Detective Peralta faces a challenge when the new Commanding Officer, Ray Holt is in charge. Aside from being forced to follow the rules, Jake has to deal with an annoyingly competitive co-worker, Detective Amy Santiago.
Her strict by the book style threatens his arrest records as she gets closer and closer to breaking it every day. The rest of the squad includes a family man and sergeant of the precinct, Terry Jeffords, an intimidating detective, Rosa Diaz and hard worker as well as Jake's biggest fan, Detective Charles Boyle. The civilian office manager, Gina Linetti may not be a cop, but despite her best efforts always gets entangled in the lives of the 99.
The show and its cast have been nominated and won many awards, namely two Golden Globes for "Best TV series Musical or Comedy" and "Best Actor Musical or Comedy" for Andy Samberg's portrayal of Jake Peralta.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a hilarious police sitcom that never fails to make me laugh. While being a comedy, it also has complex storylines and addresses real issues that all audiences can relate to. Of course the show does add a comedic twist, which makes it all the more appealing. The characters grow throughout the show and you find yourself invested in each their lives and truly rooting for all of them. Why not take a well deserved break from the daily stresses of your life and watch an episode or 10?

I love this show (Terry needs his yogurt!)
Unfortunately, I don’t think the TPL has any copies of this show, do they?
