2dvdphoto For the very first time, Toronto Reference Library’s enormous collection (14,000+) of documentaries is now available as a self-serve collection on the open shelves on the 4th Floor.

Nearly all of the films in the collection may be borrowed or requested for pick-up at any one of the 99 Toronto Public Libraries. You may watch them at home, use them in a classroom, or view them with a group of people (for titles with Public Performance Rights).

With a strong emphasis on Canadian content, we cover the environment, women’s issues, the black experience, performing arts, business, technology, art and literature and so much more.

Trainers, educators, business people, students and documentary enthusiasts have known about these gems for years. What are you waiting for? Take a trip to the Toronto Reference Library today (789 Yonge St, north of Bloor), visit us on the 4th Floor, and browse through the shelves of this fantastic collection.
