Toronto Public Library Invites Artists to Exhibit
TORONTO (Wednesday, February 12, 2014) – Toronto Public Library invites artists to submit their work for possible exhibition at thirteen Toronto Public Library branch locations: Deer Park, Don Mills, Fairview, Leaside, Mimico, North York Central Library, Northern District, Oakwood Village Library and Arts Centre, Richview, Runnymede, S. Walter Stewart, Woodside Square and Yorkville during the September 2014 to August 2015 exhibit season.
An Art Selection Committee will consider works prepared for hanging in all media, including photography (no sculptures). Selected artists will be given one month showings.
If you would like to submit an application for consideration visit the library website or contact the Art Exhibits Office at 416-393-7224 for more information. Deadline for submission is April 4, 2014.
Artists or groups of artists selected to exhibit will pay a $20 plus HST exhibition fee at the time of installation.
