Today's featured agency is Doorsteps Neighbourhood Services . "Doorsteps Neighbourhood Services is a community development organization focusing on community education and prevention and the enhancement of resiliency for individuals and the community." The agency delivers programs out of its three locations, viz.: the Chalkfarm, Daystrom and Falstaff Neighbourhood Centres. 

Resiliency-based programs and services start with the assets and strengths emanating from the community and each individual. Prevention-based programs include after-school programs to provide homework help and supervised recreational activities. Community education programs include leadership training, paren'ting education, partnerships with the Toronto District School Board to provide English classes at Daystrom Neighbourhood Centre and the Toronto Catholic District School Board to provide basic mathematics and English classes at Falstaff Neighbourhood Centre.
