Today's featured agency is North York Community House. NYCH "is a dynamic community centre providing exciting and innovative programs and services to the residents of southwest North York. We work with new Canadians, women, children, youth and families to foster a sense of belonging, independence, and creativity, and help build strong, healthy communities."

The program areas of focus are new Canadians, women and family, children and youth, and community development. The agency's mission is "to assist newcomers settle, integrate and become vibrant members of our community; to help residents improve their economic conditions; and to help build strong neighbourhoods."
