Pledge Drive and Special Events

TPL Campaign Co-Chairperson Marie Belanger has the following message for all TPL canvassers who worked on the 2008 United Way Campaign, viz.:

"Congratulations to all of you! Through your hard work on the pledge drive this year (remember all the way back to September training sessions) Fabienne and I are very happy to announce our final figures!

Pledge Goal:$148,00

Pledges Received: $156,519

Total TPL Raised including Pledges and Special Events: $172,591

You guys did a fabulous job, even though many of you thought you didn't do enough…

Your canvasser evaluations reflect the hard work, enthusiasm and dedication you showed throughout the campaign.

Your comments, as always, will impact the way the UW campaign is managed next year..

Thank you thank you thank you. There's a reason that old cliche is an old cliche – without you, there is no way….

Our figures contributed to the City Of Toronto's final tally of 1.1 million, over their goal of $1 million.."
