David Clark CMA, Manager, Purchasing and Administration, reported that 513 Toronto Public Library staff members have committed $150,771.80 in pledges to the 2010 City of Toronto's United Way Campaign. When added together with $15,211.83 raised from special events and $5,000 generously donated by the Toronto Public Library Workers' Union (TPLWU), CUPE Local 4948, the final total is an impressive $170,983.63.

Thank you to all staff members who supported TPL's 2010 United Way Campaign.

Congratulations to Co-Chairpersons Linda Falconer and Mark Williams and their colleagues on the United Way Committee for a job well-done! Mark Williams offers the following greeting to TPL staff:
