  1. I thought this book was quite well-written. While the plotline was a little slow, the character development was satisfying. There was a character for everybody, I think, such as the rebellious side-character. That sounds incredibly stereotypicical, but the book did deal with labels of all kinds. Most characters turned out to be deeper than the labels that initially defined them, which is what I think makes Gravity worth reading.

  2. Gravity by Leanne Lieberman was quite an interesting novel and I found that I was able to learn a lot about religion and their opinion on bisexual people. There was some terminology that I was unfamiliar with such as “Kosher food” which made it a little confusing at times but they do provide you with a glossary at the back of the book which I unfortunately did not discover until I finished the novel. I enjoyed that behind the novel lays an important message that is often hidden in our society. The characters are so well rounded and I loved how different watch one was. I loved how Ellie is so awkward and honest which I’m sure makes her relatable to people going through the same problems as her. The writing itself is so fluent and graceful; I can’tell that Lieberman is quite a talented writer; it was really touching and was so realistic. However, the book itself doesn’t quite stand out to me. I liked it but once you compare it to other novels of the same genre, Gravity doesn’t quite compare. It is not something that I will remember for a life time and honestly was not the most entertaining of novels. In my opinion, the book was average and I enjoyed it but would not recommend it to anyone.
