On Growin’ up . . . a guide
Ryan Kerr is a local artist, journalist, author, and performer who is a creative force to be reckoned with. His first book is the self published craft spiritual auto-biography entitled "On Growin' Up . . .A Guide". This book is the creation of a new format of book – the picture book for adults!
Ryan's book is a delightful and in-depth look at modern life and growing up in a time when almost all things in the Western World are available in abundance, but it still feels like someone is holding something back from you.
Unfortunately the library does not have this book yet but we are working on getting it as soon as possible. If you want to see a copy you can check it out at Ryan's website or you can get a copy at all of these different locations.
Also if you want to meet Ryan in person and take a writers workshop you should come to the North York Central Library on Saturday July 20th from 2-4 in the auditorium. However you have to call 416-395-5674 to register as space is limited.

It really hurts my brain and causes stress when ever I think about growing up. I guess reading about it should help…I think.
This is interesting and Ryan himself is absolutely wonderful, if you do any library programs this summer this is the one!
