Skate stuff

This post is for all you skatenerds (or wannabes) out there. If you're at all interested in skate culture, this summer has been a busy one for online content. Many popular blogs and online magazines have been busy posting a tonne of content.

Chrome-ball

The Chrome Ball Incident – a blog dedicated to archiving only the raddest skateboarding from print magazines over the 70s, 80s and 90s – has been publishing many original and lengthy interviews from some heavy hitters including the likes of Guy Mariano, Marc Johnson and Lance Mountain. The site itself is a museum of the greatest print ads and photos from the last 30 years. So even if you don't feel like reading there is lots of visual stimuli to stare at until your eyes hurt.

Jenkem, another online only skate magazine, has been posting a wack of great content too. My personal favorites are an interview with Dr. Tom Winters – a 69 year-old skateboarding professor.

Also Color magazine – a Canadian magazine at that – publishes exclusize content almost daily. Make sure to check out there site. And for a little shameless self promotion you can even check out a piece I wrote for them a while back.
