Kick out the jams

Summer is time for adventure and doing your own thing.  Large or small, the adventure doesn't necessarily have to be about going anywhere, it could be learning something new or discovering you didn't know before.  It could be an event, something you read or experienced.

What defined your summer?

What was your most memorable experience of this summer?

Any regretable misadventures?

Anything that changed how you thought about something / someone?

Something you wanted to do / say, but didn't get to?

  1. Well the highlight of my summer was going to Niagara Falls and seeing the fireworks, as well as riding on the Maid Of The Mist!! I’ve been to Niagara Falls many times before but never had this much fun. The Falls at nighttime with all the colours looked amazing from the Canadian side!! Topped up with the magical fireworks!! The Falls looked breathtaking, while riding on the Maid Of The Mist, they looked huge!!! I actually loved getting wet during the ride, considering I’m not a rain lover. Had a fun time staying over and walking up and down Clifton Hill! 😀

  2. There were many memorable things about my summer. I also went to Huangshan in China. It’s supposed to be the most gorgeous mountains in China. The sunsets and sunrises there are breathtaking. Huangshan is also famous for its clouds descending on the mountains after it rains. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen when I was there… I would definitely go again despite the fact that the climbing part of the trip was a lot of work.
I also went horseback riding and finally got to canter a small course of jumps.

  3. My most memorable experience in the summer was when I went to Centre Island to see a festival. It was also when I went to the Temple for celebrating my God’s birthday. (It was yesterday) Lots and lots of people stayed up and danced until midnight. The celebration ended with lots of balloons thrown up in the air and flower petals everywhere. I had so much fun! 🙂

  4. My most memorable moment was going to Ottawa. There is so much to do and see. I was there with school in May but going with my family was the best. I have also been to Niagara in the beginning of the summer and we are going back this weekend. It’s a beautiful place to escape that is still close enough to home.

  6. I had a similar day as you! I go to Niagara Falls almost every summer! Only this year I went to Clifton hill to enjoy the hunted house! I was totally freaked out and scared out of my soul. But what can I say…the horror was totally worth it!!!
