Tell us! and enter to win signed Raptors jersey
We're always trying to make Word Out better. Part of that is knowing a little bit about who participates. Complete the short survey and if you include your email, you'll be entered for a random prize draw for a Raptors jersey signed by Kyle Lowry.
Chance to enter ends Tuesday, Sept. 3rd at 11:59 pm. Winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
The contest has closed. The winner will be contacted and posted soon. But, please let us know what you think about Word Out – we're all ears.
We are constantly looking to make Word Out better. Your feedback will be heard!

Is there a submit button for the survey? I can’t seem to submit my responses properly.
Click the “Done” button when you’ve finished adding your responses
Sorry, it wasn’t easily visible. I increased the height of the survey box. Let me know if the problem persists.
I think Word Out is already pretty cool. There’s not much to change. Maybe the background could be changed as a contest every two weeks or so? The mummy creeps me out.
I believe the site has much to improve, for one it could use more thought-provoking articles, and some intriguing material to draw me to it.
Word Out is AWESOME!!! There is not much to change. The site has lots of contests and it is exciting. Contests such as the writing contest and the poetry contest encourage kids to read and write more while having fun. 🙂
Oh! I see it now. Thanks!
I think the contests are pretty cool and you get to learn a lot about different kinds of things, which is also really cool. Although getting a background change would be nice, as said above.
Better contests- i was really excited to enter a poetry one this summer but the only two you had were (1) using someone else’s words and (2) writing about a book that i didn’t really like.
The fan fiction one was pretty cool; more writing contests like that would be awesome : )
Anyone think there should be a short essay contest? I think that could produce so really controversial and thought provoking pieces
I like this idea!!
When will the winner be announced??
By the end of the week. The chance to enter closes tonight, we’ll randomly select a winner the following day and announce it on Word Out.
Hello. I think Wordout has lots of amazing things to read and look at, and lots of nice activities and contest, and we get a chance to view other peoples’ work sometimes – which are all really great opportunities. But of course, there are ups and downs to everything, so just a few about this website: the layout of the website itself in my opinion isn’t really attractive it could use a bit of work, secondly not many people know about Wordout and what it’s about, so i think a little more advertising could have some really great results. And, i would really love to see more interesting polls and contests because i really enjoyed those this year. One last thing, i think it would be really amazing if Wordout had a blog type of thing, or a link on the website where anyone could post any work they’ve done (like poems, etc.) for people to comment and read.
Terrific. Thank you! Huge thanks for telling us what you thought didn’t work. We hope to make lots of improvements for next year and your feedback will definitely be used!
No problem 🙂 I loved visiting the website throughout this year, can’t wait till next year!!
