Word Up!
For those of you interested in writing prose, poetry and performance, there is still room in the Word Up! Writing Workshop Series being given by professional writer and youth arts advocate, Anne-Marie Woods. Participants will be introduced to spoken word poetry and will learn to create pieces using personal experiences and societal times. This workshop focuses on the creative process of writing and presentation, and how youth can use their voices to tell their own stories.
If you have something to say then this is where you can learn how to do it and be heard.
