Are there any other Star Wars fans out there?

I loved Star Wars as a kid. 

Growing up I watched every movie and read every single novel I could find in the library. I even collected the trading cards! 

That being said, I’ve also read my fair share of Shakespeare. Despite the fact the fact that they were mandatory readings (Thank you TDSB) I found that I actually really enjoyed the plots. 

Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope is exactly what it looks like it. 

Author Ian Doescher has done a brilliant job of re-writing the well-loved Star Wars story in Shakespearean English, and in iambic pentameter to boot! 

Why should you read this book? You know Star Wars and you know Shakespeare, so what’s new? 

Well if you’re a fan of both or even just a little curious about how it translates, I can guarantee you that Doescher has absolutely nailed the execution in this rewrite.
