Hustle is about two friends who always work together and have each others' back. Johny, the main character always loses to Rex in basketball. But thanks to Johny's hot spot, Rex wins the MVP award. Since Rex is the star of basketball now, he makes bad choices like smoking and now Rex and Johny get into a fight. Rex gets Johny into lots of trouble already so they do not want to be friends again. In the finals, Rex gets injured and asks Johny if he could still play since Johny is the new captain. Johny makes an unbelievable quote: "We were once a team, we win as a team."
Moral: Forgive and forget. This is the moral because if Johny did not let Rex play basketball when they were rivals, Johny's basketball team would have lost.
