Contest: AudioSplice v. 7
What's an AudioSplice?
The Basics:
I've taken little snippets of a handful of songs and smashed them together into a sort of sonic puzzle for you to figure out. There is also a theme that links the songs somehow for you to work out, to help you along and make it a little more fun.
So what do you need to do? Listen carefully! Try to identify as many songs as you can, look for that link between them, and leave your guesses in comments. If no one is getting close after a couple of days, I may come back and leave a hint below…
Winners of book prizes will be the commenters who a) get the link and the most songs, and b) enter the most amusing guess at the link (even if they are wrong). And by amusing, I mean it amuses me. 😉

I know that some of the songs are Summer Paradise by Simple Plan, In Summer from Frozen and Summer by Calvin Harris. I think the link is the things we have all been dreaming about and hoping to come. All year round, we think “I can’t wait till Summer” because who doesn’t love Summer? Once Summer does roll around, we can’t wait till those warm Summer nights start or until we can go on an amazing vacation to “Paradise”.
Although the time of Summer has arrived, I am currently waiting for it to properly start so it gets warm and becomes the summer that Olaf actually dreams of.
Hopefully this is amusing:
I think the link is that all the songs are ones that I have never heard of, and they’re all from planet Earth in the language humans (Earthlings) call “English”. Reading the comments above, I am guessing they are all about the season that comes before autumn and after spring… The songs are out of this world!!
How do people get these audiosplice things? 😛
What I usually do is that once I recognize one or two songs (like the songs from frozen and simple plan) I try to connect them with a link (like summer) and then search up “popular songs that have summer in the title” and see if any work
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but that’s the fun part!
