Hot Summer Reads: Tempest by Julie Cross

This is definitely not Shakespeare’s Tempest Tempest index.aspx!  Nineteen year old Jackson’s newly discovered and relatively unexplored time-travel abilities hurl him into the past seconds after his girlfriend is fatally shot.

As Jackson desperately struggles to manipulate his past to save his girlfriend, he realizes he must unravel the truth about himself, his family and everyone he thought he could trust.  Caution – this is the first of a trilogy!

  1. Yep this does not seem to be Shakespeare’s Tempest.
Cover, title, video all point and seem to classify this novel as a must read. I will give it a shot. Has anyone read it yet?

  2. I read Tempest and loved it….there were so many different aspects to the story – the basic, cliffhanger premise, Jackson’s background, the complicated and tragic family situation, the Tempest organization (to name a few) – but they all play around each other to make an exciting, provocative read.
I’m so looking forward to Vortex.
