Boss Magazine is officially here at the York Woods Library!
According to Editor in Chief, Tamika Johnson, "Boss has brought the Jane and Finch community of all races, genders and ages together to create literature out of love and positivity". This magazine is not just a fashion and lifestyle magazine but showcases the individual styles and talents of the Jane and Finch community. Since their inception in February 2011, they have covered some of Toronto's major events including the Juno Awards, LG Fashion Week, the Stylus Awards, the MMVA's, Flow 93.5 Summer Jam, OneXOnce Concert and most recently, the Planet Africa Awards.

Tamika requested horoscopes from Canadian Artists Syndicate and is refusing to pay the artists. The reason she uses it that she never used the horoscope for June after requesting the artist Nadiya Shah to write it specially for the magazine. She then requested a horoscope to be written by Doyna last month and changed her mind and asked another artists to write one.
