Always wanted to learn about the Web, but were scared to do it alone?…Downsview Library is here to help you.


The popular free program  is once again being offered at Downsview Library.

Every Tuesday 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Every Wednesday 6:45 pm – 8:15 pm

Registration is required for all classes.

Learn basic mouse and keyboarding skills in this hands-on class.

Web Basic I: Explore the Internet using Web addresses and various search engines.

Web Basic II: Improve search techniques using various search engines, such as Google and Yahoo.

Advanced Web: Refine search techniques using advanced features of various search engines.

 

 


Microsoft Office Word 2010 Computers for seniors for dummies

 

Explore the library catalogue: Learn how to find information using the library catalogue.

Word Basics: Learn to create, edit and save files in this hands-on class.

  1. Hello, I want to go back to community college and take computer classes. What should I take, like web design, excel, desktop publishing, so many jobs are in computers! I need my skills to be up to far.
