41xdxx4rnml_sl160_aa115_ Schuyler Van Alen goes to the most prestigious private school in New York City, Duchesne. While Duchesne is full of Prada wearing glamour, Schuyler is completely not. She wears vintage and baggy clothes, so it’s obvious she doesn’t fit in.

Then on her 15th birthday things started to change. A mosaic of blue veins started to appear on her arms and she begins to fancy raw meat. She then discovers something unbelievable; the New York Blood Bank Committee is a secret vampire society of elite wealthy families called the Blue Bloods.   To make things even weirder – she is part of it!

A series of strange events starts to happen. Jack Force, the most popular guy in school, is taking notice of her, a fellow schoolmate and Blue Blood dies, and a dangerous secret from their past is being kept from the new Blue Bloods. A secret that Schuyler is determined to find out.

This is a definite must-read for all vampire fans out there. It has an interesting twist on vampires by using the glamour of NYC and American history that will keep you reading.
