Writer’s Workshop & Live Music @ Richview
For those of you who like to write as well as read, or like live music, or both!
Richview branch is having a workshop this Saturday (July 11th) with author/musician/playwright/film-maker Dave Bidini and the Bidini Band. The discussion will touch on fiction, non-fiction, sports writing, journalism, travel writing and music writing, and will feature a live band performance.

AWWW!!!! that sucks a lot because it’s not near my branch and i soooooooooo want to do the playwright and i have done it in grade 9 for drama class and i really wanted to do, but i cant go!!!!!!!!!! =(

why do all exciting workshops have to be held in branches no one really goes to?(ok, well, not no one) but I wish they’d hold something in the Agincourt, or Burrows hall branches.

I agree with many of you, these stuff only happens in faraway places… Well, what can I do, I just take advantage of what I have at my library and live with that.

That branch is too far from my house…..so sadly I cannot go to this wonderful event….but there are many other things at the library close to me so I am not too disappointed

It would be nice if some of the tips that people can pick up at these writing workshops were availible online. I have the same problems as some of the other posters-unable to make it to the actual workshop.
That way, developing writers (which include many of my friends) would probably find it easier too. It’s amazing how many people are writing novels.

And i’m incrediable good at writing them fast, once i wrote a whole booklet in one night because it was due the next day and i still got a great mark
