Twisted Minds | Simaran H.

The world is a dark place
In which havoc reigns
Be it real or in the mind
It's taking over all of us all the time

In chaos we all grieve
It is for life for which we weep
We wish for eternal sleep
Now we all bleed …

Or is this just me?

Am I like you, ever so twisted and cruel?
Or are you like me, so broken and weak?
I think neither of these for I am different from you;

I am no fool.

Now in chaos I grieve
It is for life that I weep

Wishing soley for eternal sleep
Now you watch me as I bleed

I know you love this, you disgustingly twisted mind;
As you sit and watch every single sacrifice
Every person who steps up to die
You praise them all,
Promising them a second life
Well guess what, my dear?
I can see through your lies.

Slowly, civilization comes down
Are you happy now?
This is what the world has become:
A place full of loathsome scum.

So answer me now, you children of hell:
Are you satisfied yet
With other comrades burned to ashes

Or laid deep into the ground?
You know that it's your fault,

That you could have stopped it,
So why didn't you?
Why did you let our people fall?

Finally now, when it's too late
You begin to realize your mistake.
You feel remorse, pain and sadness

But now it's done

And we're left in a nightmare: madness.

So now in chaos you grieve
It is for life that you weep
Wishing only for eternal sleep
Now I watch you as you bleed

Thou shall never be free…
