Agincourt Branch Closure
Agincourt branch will be closed for 2 weeks beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday November 25 in order to install an automated self serve check-in sorter.
The sorter processes materials returned by our customers to the branch efficiently, while also enhancing service by providing customers with a receipt for their returned items.
Given that Agincourt branch has the highest use of materials borrowed for a district library in the City of Toronto with a circulation of 1,188,128 materials in 2011, the sorter is both an innovative and efficient use of resources.
Alternative Services:
- After November 25, customers can return library materials to any Toronto Public Library branch. Holds can be picked up at Bridlewood branch.
- Other nearby library branches include: Steeles, Maryvale and Woodside Square. Visit the Toronto Public Library Bookmobile stop at Glamorgan, 120 Dundalk Drive every Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Agincourt MAP passes will circulate out of Bridlewood Branch beginning Saturday December 1, 2012.
- Watch for ongoing library programs in the Agincourt community provided by library staff during the closure.
