No Meat BBQ

I'm not vegetarian, but personally, I am not a big fan of eating meat — thick juicy steaks, pork chops, hamburgers, hot-dogs, suasages….nah.  Thick juicy portobello mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini and red peppers…now you are talking!  You might think vegetarians get left out of the summer BBQ season, but not so.  With a little care and planning, you can grill up most veggies and have an awesome meal. Luckily there are a number of books with some mouth watering barbecue recipes that feature little or no meat at all, even vegan:

  1. I love to grill a bunch of green onions on the bbq, tossed in a tiny bit of olive oil and coarse salt. Its really easy, and they make a great side for whatever else you’re eating!
