Are you a newcomer? We can help. A settlement counsellor is at the branch every Tuesday afternoon this summer to provide settlement services, including information and referral, newcomer orientation, employment related service, solution-focused counselling, translation and interpretation, immigration services, personalized needs assessment, etc.
Getting ready for your citizenship test? We can help, too. Sign up for the Citizenship Test Preparation Workshop offered in August, a partnership with Newcomer and Settlement Services, Agincourt Community Services Association. Of course, don’t forget to get a library card to enjoy free access to all library materials including ESL and employment resources. You will also be able to sit comfortably at home and use online databases to improve your English, learn a different language or prepare for TOFEL, IELTS, SAT tests, etc.
