Youth School Expulsions & Suspensions

Paren'ts & Families Raising Safe Youth will present a workshop on the topic of Youth Expulsions & Suspensions. Learn about related policies and procedures, and participate in group discussions and question and answer sessions.

Employment Insurance

This information session will teach participants about Employment Insurance (EI) benefits in Canada. Topics of discussion will include the application process, different types of EI, as well as eligibility for benefits.

Wednesday January 18 – The Odd Couple

Stress Management through Restorative Meditation

Relax, renew, and reflect. Learn simple meditation exercises and tension-relieving stretches to reduce your stress and anxiety, and restore your sense of well-being and calm. Participants should bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket and wear comfortable clothing.

Job Search Techniques

This information session will teach participants about the job market in Toronto, effective job search techniques, as well as the benefits of networking and volunteering.

Tuesday January 24, from 6:00 to 8:00pm

A facilitator from Centennial College Job Connect will show participants how to access jobs that are never advertised.

Wednesday January 25, from 2:00 to 4:00pm
