Scarborough Players is an inclusive community theatre company and encourages all interested individuals from all backgrounds to audition. Those auditioning must be Non- Equity performers and understand that this is a non-paying production.
We do not enter into any contracts or agreements with CAEA or ACTRA.
Audition Information
Requirements: Please prepare a comedic monologue of no more than one minute…something you love. Please be prepared for some redirection of your monologue; there may also be cold readings from the play. Those actors interested in the role of “Cora” should prepare a short a cappella song to exhibit vocal ability. Please bring a recent photo (photocopy will do) and resumé.
Those asked to return for callbacks will be emailed a few scenes to review. There will be mixing and matching of the actors by the artistic staff.
Please read the play. A copy of the play will be on hold at the 5th floor Audio Desk, Toronto Reference Library

We will be booking individual auditions in 10 minute slots. Please indicate the roles in which you are interested.
Auditions and Rehearsals will be held at 780 Birchmount, Unit 5 (west side of Birchmount, south of Eglinton,
beside the Low Carb Food Outlet. TTC accessible by #17 Bus from Warden Station or any Eglinton West bus from Kennedy Station)
