Opening night (Nags Players)

Location: Tranzac, 292 Brunswick Avenue, Toronto M5S 1Y2. Closest subway: Spadina or Bathurst.
IMPORTANT: Please e-mail Nags Auditions if you wish to attend the audition.
Format: This is an open call audition. The audition format will be a cold read of the play. You don't need to send/bring a resume/photo, and you don't need to make an appointment or prepare anything.
Characters required: Jack Tidsdale (male, 45) – A varnish salesman and sports lover. On the night of his 25th wedding anniversary, he’d rather be at home watching the World Series.
Ruth Tidsdale (female, 45) – An accountant and Jack’s wife. She hopes that a night out with hubby on their anniversary might rekindle their former romantic flame.
Richard Hyde-Finch (male, 35-45) – The play’s director. Condescending and distracted by the opening of his show, he gives little attention to his long-time partner’s needs and the actors who seek his approval.
Cilla Fraser (female, 35) – Richard’s long-time girlfriend, frustrated by Richard’s refusal to commit to their relationship.
Michael Craig (male, 40-50) – A down-on-his-luck stage and screen actor looking to make a comeback.
Clayton Fry (male, 40-50) – An aging British stage actor and lead actor in the show.
Libby Husniak (female, 20-25) – An ingénue and lead actress in the show.
Tom Delaney (male, 20-25) – A waiter and aspiring actor.
Rehearsals: First read-through: Sunday, March 13. 1-4 pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:30 – 9:30 pm: Sundays: 1 to 5 pm.
Performance dates: April 28-30 and May 5-7, 2016 at 7:30 pm
